Elizabeth was married in Velsen on November 1, 1962, at the age of 37 to
Jan Feenstra (aged 41 years), onderzoeker TNO, gepensioneerd, born in Makasser (Indonesië) on July 5, 1921, died in Steenwijkerwold on February 18, 2002, buried there on February 22, 2002, aged 80 years, son of Mr. Gerrit Feenstra (lid Raad van Justitie te Soerabaja) and Charlotte Ripassa.

  Maaike was married in Leek on August 30, 1997, at the age of 34 to Johannes Andries Maring (aged 38 years), huisarts in Tolbert, born in Rotterdam on April 15, 1959, son of Herman Maring (hoofdcommies rijksbelastingen, gepensioneerd) and Jannetje van den Broek (docente EHBO).
